Welcome to Erdeven, 300 hectares of protected dunes and 8 kms of coastline. A megalithic mecca, the commune is rich in dolmens and menhirs, making it the most important megalithic site in Brittany after Carnac.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Kerzerho giants, the Man\u00e9-Bras dolmens, Caesar’s chair, the Crucuno dolmen and the Crucuno quadrilateral are just some of Erdeven’s megaliths<\/strong> classified as historic monuments in 1862.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ch\u00e2teau de Kerav\u00e9on<\/strong>, a large seigneurial estate, offers a visit to its park: fitness trail, botanical trail, children’s play areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the hinterland, numerous calvaries<\/strong> and old chapels<\/strong>. Erdeven boasts 3 beautiful stretches of sand: Kerhillio beach, Kerouriec beach and Kerminihy beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The menhirs of Erdeven<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A number of megalithic remains can be discovered along the sunken paths and wooded areas near the commune of Erdeven in Brittany.The Kerzerho site boasts 190 menhirs, making it the largest megalithic site in the region after Carnac<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not to be missed is the Megaliths hiking trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a two-hour walk, visitors have the chance to appreciate the Kerzerho giants<\/strong>, stones weighing forty tonnes and measuring 6 metres in height. The Etel<\/strong> River<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Located at the eastern end of Quiberon Bay, between land and sea, the Ria<\/strong> d’Etel is a landscape that’s easy to fall in love with on your vacation near the Quiberon peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
